The Clear Water Alliance Church is a church plant of the Rocky Mountain District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
This church plant began in June of 2004. Pastor Bruce Williams, along with his wife Kathy, have been blessed to minister with this group of Bible-believing Christians since its inception.
I (Pastor Bruce) was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and came to Christ when I was 26. I was not raised in a Christian home. My conversion was both radical and life-changing. I was literally swept away by the love of God and have followed Him for almost 30 years. I have been in the ministry in one form or another since 1986.
Kathy and I met in Phoenix in March of 1986 and were married in July of that same year. Kathy was raised in a "religious" home in Wisconsin but didn’t come to faith in Christ until 1985.
We are approaching 30 years of marriage. We have two adult children. Kaylee is married and graduated in the nursing field. She and her husband live in Billings, Montana. James finished his commitment with the United States Army and recently moved to Oregon.
Kathy was blessed as a stay-at-home mom during the child-rearing years. Kathy has a degree in Community Health from the University of Wisconsin and keeps very active in the local community in a number of ways.
We have served the Lord together in a variety of ministry settings:
~ We founded a church in the inner city of Grand Rapids, MI under the direction of the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board from 1987-1990.
~ We then served as residential managers in a group home for the elderly while we were also involved in youth ministry with a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Wisconsin from 1991 through 2000.
~ We moved to Montana to serve in a non-denominational church from 2001 through 2004.
~ We are currently ministering again with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (2004 - the present).
I love the mission and the message of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We are all about Jesus Christ. Our mission is to bring the message of Christ to the whole world. Our message emphasizes the sufficiency of the Person and Work of Jesus Christ as our Savior, our Sanctifier, our Healer, and our Soon Coming King.
We will fulfill His Commission through:
•Evangelizing and discipling persons throughout the United States,
•Incorporating them into Christ-centered, community-focused congregations, and
•Mobilizing them for active involvement in a global effort designed to plant Great Commission churches among unengaged, unreached and responsive peoples worldwide.
Our mission central objectives are critical to all we are and do.
•Lost people matter to God. He wants them found. Luke 19:10
•Prayer is the primary work of the people of God. Philippians 4:6-7
•Everything we have belongs to God. We are His stewards. 1 Chronicles 29:14
•Knowing and obeying God’s Word is fundamental to all true success. Joshua 1:8
•Completing the Great Commission will require the mobilization of every fully devoted disciple. Matthew 28:19
•Without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we can accomplish nothing. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
•Achieving God’s purposes means taking faith-filled risks. This always involves change. Hebrews 11:6
